Sure, batteries are better now than back then. But so too are ICE vehicles and they are still king of the road by a huge margin. The only way they are going away is with government using our tax dollars to tip the scales in favor of EVs while outlawing ICE vehicles. That right there shows that EVs are not the great idea that some would have us believe.

It's economics 101 - truly good ideas sell themselves.

Looks like all Toyota uses old school batteries ...

Not modern sealed batteries... Lithium ion ...

They still take about checking the water/acid level in the battery...
