Those things stink.

They are almost like illegal immigrants. They come uninvited and you have to treat them nice or else... It is wise to escort them peacefully off the premises.

Get a couple or three each year on the screened in porch, here. Can't figure how they get in. :?

Last year had hundreds at the Saratoga house. And my brother said they had a lot at his house on Long Island.

I guess it's a bit too cold at higher elevations for them here in CNY hill country.

Used to have hundreds in my parents house growing up, now we don't see them near as much, maybe it's a trend/wave depending on area.

They started showing up in eastern Pa. in the late 90's. We were swimming in them about 10-15 years ago. Especially when the second species arrived. Now they're mostly seen in late Spring. Not so many now.

The heat from radiant coal stoves has been known to wake up a few hibernating stink bugs mid Winter. I usually give them a trip to the load door and enjoy the extra .000056 btu of heat energy.

They are here but not thick, at least not yet. First one I saw was 2 or 3 years ago. I bet they came on a boat from somewhere we shouldnt deal with. Thats why we use wool sock filters for our morning caffeine fix :)
