Show Me Your National Boilers!

Hello! I am able to pick up a National Radiator Co. hot water boiler this coming weekend and it’s missing the shaker grates and the ash door as well as the barometric damper. It looks to be an early version not far from 1902 from what I can tell from the logo on the fill door. I’ll post pix once I have her in hand. Just looking for pictures and any information any of you folks might have on this brand. Thanks for your assistance!

Not really related but here is a video that I shot of a big International boiler with a Losch 4 foot wide bump grate.

Welcome Aboard and thank you for watching!

Sorry I couldn't come up with any National Boilers for you. We do have guys on the forum that have them but they probably don't check in much during the Summer.

Thank you Don! Hopefully someone will read this and point me I the direction of parts. I know of one junk yard near Johnstown, PA that gets old boilers in from time to time and they may have the parts I’m looking for. Missing a clean out door assembly as well. About 5” wide by about 15” long measured on the flat.

I have no affiliation with these folks.
Call Curwensville Heating and plumbing in Curwensville,PA . They are also the owners of Ace Hardware in the same building
They have parts/pieces for almost any coal fired boilers.
