Renewables are the first to be used with others used by price,so many fossil fuels have
limited use because they are too expensive.
You have to be able to take the energy at a moments notice and pay for distribution.

That mean no more renewable energy companies will make new "facilities" ? This would make sense if they are not going to get paid for generating electricity.

The smart ones couple it with some type of energy storage so they sell
none at negative prices. Most new systems have both so they coast along
with the stored energy and then sell at the peaks for extra income.
You have to remember that energy can stored in many ways for use in
the future so every situation is different in the type of storage.
