Debt is bad. Lose this war and that debt becomes worse.

Too bad because the war is already lost. Are their any Ukrainian men left to take the last bullet Mr potato head sends there. From what iv read most of the military age men have already expired for the cause or have defected.

And this article was from last august.

I don't think it's over as long as they get the weapons they need. They were doing pretty well until the supplies stopped coming. If the Russian, China, Iran and N Korea axis are allowed to win this one, our days of number one are over. What's worse than debt? Debt and being number 2. Johnson saw the intelligense and put his big boy pants on.

Now where did I hear that before. Huh. "Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said it was clear that the United States wanted Ukraine "to fight to the last Ukrainian" including with attacks on Russian sovereign territory and civilians."

The aid is not about Ukraine running out of men, it is for making Russia worry about running out of men.

Before they were running low on artillery and rockets the Ukrainians were doing well even though outnumbered by the Russians. Russia has nothing that can holdout against precision artillery barrages. Plus, the Russian rocket attacks were mostly useless when Ukraine had enough rockets like Patriot missiles to stop incoming missiles.

Now Ukraine will have enough of both so that they can go on the offensive again instead of being forced into a slow fighting withdrawal like the past few months.

She seems to have forgotten how well they did in Afghanistan.

She's projecting. It's Russia now facing "humiliation in Ukraine" like they did when they invaded Afghanistan. Just in the first year in Ukraine the Russians exceeded the casualties and loss of equipment of that war in Afghanistan. On top of that, they didn't lose 1/3 of a naval fleet and some large very expensive C&C aircraft in that war, either.

If Russia had not attacked Ukrainian "sovereign territory and civilians" she'd have nothing to complain about. ;)

That could be interpreted as saying that a loss in Ukraine is a big blow for USA. Almost sounds like victory in Ukraine cannot be achieved without USA. I wonder how long it takes from the time a bill is passed to the time weapons are delivered into Ukrainian hands.

It also could be interpreted that had the USA not dragged their feet on aid Ukraine would have been doing much better at this point in time.

I wonder if there has been any accounting for what happens with the Billions upon Billions of dollars in funding. They always say follow the money. Does a dollar in aid amount to a dollar of weaponry or does it amount to $0.010 in weaponry and a yacht and or mansion for others? I don't know. I wonder what if there has been any accounting of where the money goes. I do know that If I have a billion dollars in a van and I put it up against a missile, the van will likely lose. Money cannot fight. If the money gets diverted to something other than weapons/artillery, missiles.... then I would wonder if the money was well spent.

I never said that any yachts or mansions were purchased. I simply said I was wondering if any accounting had been done and what happens to the money.

I meant to quote this and bump it but edited it in error.

Throwing stuff on the wall and seeing what sticks again? No one is buying yachts. That was stupid Russian propaganda and you swallowed it.

How did you determine that I swallowed buying yachts? I think I simply pondered whether anyone knew where the money was going.
