How did you determine that I swallowed buying yachts? I think I simply pondered whether anyone knew where the money was going.

Russians dig in and wait ? Near imposable to do when the other guy's artillery is doing the digging.

When Ukraine had plenty of artillery ammo where did Russia dig in and was able to stay for a long time? They didn't. They got steadily pushed back or they were slaughtered. It takes a long time to "dig in" deep enough to protect from modern artillery and that is rarely able to be done when armies are in contact.

If you notice the timelines, Russia only made gains when Ukraine was running low on artillery rounds and rockets. Three years ago, when Ukraine didn't have much in the way of modern precision artillery or rockets, the Russians were 300 miles west into Ukraine. As Ukraine gained more modern artillery, rockets, and drones, they were able to drive the Russians back even though the Russians had much more troops and armored vehicles.

It's not a matter of how many boots or tanks you have on the ground - it's a matter of how many artillery rounds you can send to prevent anything staying alive on that ground, or even under it. And you don't have to be hit with artillery, just being near the impact concussion pressure can knock troops and equipment out of action.

There are very good reasons that artillery has long been called "the King of the battlefield". And modern artillery has only gotten better at earning that title.

He hears stuff like this and WANTS to believe it's true.

It's like a trial attorney putting something out there that gets overruled. The judge may tell the jury to disregard it but you you can't unhear it. The Russian propaganda machine is doing this. Things like what you posted are getting repeated in Congress. If it has been proven to be false, why repost it?

Thank you. He's constantly posting things and then saying "I don't know" or" it might be true" or "it's only an opinion". How long do you think Zelensky would last floating around on a yacht?

He's right. He doesn't know.

Especially when it comes to history and military operations - all things that can be looked up if you're not too busy trying to stick nonsense to the wall.

Everyone has an opinion, but smart people have some facts to base it on. Fools most often base their opinions just on feelings and ignore facts. ;)

A lie told often enough becomes the truth. A very common tactic of the Nazis and communists.

ColdHouse wrote: Mon. Apr. 22, 2024 3:55 am I wonder if there has been any accounting for what happens with the Billions upon Billions of dollars in funding. They always say follow the money. Does a dollar in aid amount to a dollar of weaponry or does it amount to $0.010 in weaponry and a yacht and or mansion for others? I don't know. I wonder what if there has been any accounting of where the money goes. I do know that If I have a billion dollars in a van and I put it up against a missile, the van will likely lose. Money cannot fight. If the money gets diverted to something other than weapons/artillery, missiles.... then I would wonder if the money was well spent.

I never said that any yachts or mansions were purchased. I simply said I was wondering if any accounting had been done and what happens to the money.

The US government and the US media use those common Nazi and communist tactics.

And the opinions that you agree with are facts to you.

In the end, I will be right, You will be wrong. Ukraine should have gotten out of the war a long time ago. That is my opinion.

Time will tell.

Seems like they dont want to know since they keep saying this will be benefit the US weapons companies that they all have stock in that may be the driving factor. Not how many Ukrainians get killed ,thats just collateral damage and the cost of doing business.

Yea. And, it was insinuated that Ukraine was doing good until they ran out of weapons. Hmm and who is supplying weapons? And why were weapons on hold? Did Ukrainian soldiers die because they didn't have adequate weapons? Was it USA Congress fault that they did not have adequate weapons? It is not out of the realm of possibility that one day Ukrainians blame USA for the destruction of their country and the loss of their people.

Yeah, it's not like a lot of NATO and non-NATO countries are helping Ukraine. It's always just our fault.

Yes siree, this country is so terrible I don't understand why you even live here. Tucker says Moscow is nice, maybe you would be happier there ?
