What earth has the USA "scorched" in this war ? Is the USA launching rocket attacks on civilian centers like Russia is in Ukraine ?

Russia wants peace ? Is that why they invaded Ukraine,... so they can have peace ? :o

With their far greater population to draw from, numbers of troops, far more of modern equipment, and ten times the military budget, now 19 months into the war, why hasn't Russia got this "victory" you speak of ?

I've asked you several times, yet you have not answered that elephant-in-the-room question. Why hasn't Russia already won against such an inferiorly equipped smaller country, if you think Russia can still win?

USA bombs its enemies and then pays its contractors to go rebuild what they destroyed. That is how the USA goes to war. Russia chooses a different avenue.
Believe what you want. Just remember when you are wrong in the future you were wrong in the past and I told you so. Russia will not lose this war and Ukraine will not win. Russia had cause to go into Ukraine and would negotiate peace even to this day. If you cannot see that, glasses will not help.

But the USA is not fighting this war so what does saying the USA does "scorched earth" have to do with it?

If you really believe that Russia will win and Ukraine will lose.... maybe you can tell me when that will happen? Russia has had 19 months against a much weaker adversary. Even starting out with enough equipment to strike along hundreds of miles of battle front with a huge fast-moving army, yet they are tactically worse off than a year ago.

Or do you think the Russians are still 10 miles north of Kiev ?

How's the Russian Navy doing against a country that doesn't have a navy? For a country that has such a big and powerful navy they sure have lost a lot of ships. And that's not propaganda. Moscow has admitted to losing a lot of their ships.

Paul,
I do not intend to keep this dialogue going for too much longer. It is obvious you are not going to see things the way I see them. My guess is even when it is proven that your ideology was wrong you might not see it or possibly by then you will modify your stance that you always meant....
I never stated that USA was on the ground in "this war". The USA is very destructive when they go to war. They careless about casualties of humans and or property. Why was a super power like the USA unable to quickly defeat their enemy in the middle east? Was the USA concerned with casualties of that or any other war they were involved in? What countries to this day have used the Atomic Bomb?
Russia has no desire to demolish the country it wants to help or acquire.
Consider that Russia considers it a win to not be offensively destroying life and property while risking the lives of their own countrymen. They don't mind having the foolish enemies come to them to get slaughtered while they remain in safer ground.
Only time will tell who is right or wrong.
When COVID was a pandemic, anything about alternative medication was banned from social media. Doctors and nurses were fired for prescribing or practicing other than mainstream pharmaceutical solutions. When the 2020 election was in question, those that dared to question were censored. What about JFK? I don't know but I can tell you that there is a litany of false narratives that have been perpetuated upon the American people. If you choose to believe the reporting of the Ukraine War then go for it. I am not here to try to change your mind. All I said was that I am publicly taking a different stance and in the end people like you will pretend you knew all along or your ideology will evolve with the evolving narrative. Why do you think it is important that Russia take out Ukraine fast? What difference does it make to Russia? Achieving the goal with the least amount of destruction and loss of life seems like the smart play. When Russia has more nukes than the entire rest of the world combined, think again if you think Ukraine is going to beat them in a border dispute. It is obvious that if you read that Citizens in Ukraine voted to be part of Russia that you will say the vote was not valid. Whatever. My point as is Ron Pauls point is that the USA doesn't belong involved there just like we have not belonged in any conflict since WWII.

You still have not answered my legitimate questions, yet you say I "won't see it". See what ? You haven't shown any proof, just claims.

I'm more than willing to see actual proof of your claims. Not some guy running around in who-knows-where that is claiming there are no Ukrainians where they said they were. Claimed by who and when. Where is his interview with any Ukrainian official or military personal making such a claim? Where are the Russians ? In fact, where are any military? That videos are laughable. The only two in your last video that even look like solders are the two guys in the front seat.

Show me where the Russin front lines are now. You haven't even tried. I'll ask yet again, are Russian troops still within artillery range of Kiev? You can't answer because you have no idea where they are. None of your supposed video proof shows Russian troops even manning a defensive position.

All I'm asking is show me actual proof, not a bunch of silly amateurish videos of some guy with a GoPro camera that spends more time with his face in the camera then proving what he claims. That is not journalism, that is just hearsay.

So, we can see the "hit" while the guy is still wearing the googles ? Can't even tell what was hit.

There are lots of far better videos on You Tube of drone strikes, but they are from the Ukrainian side so you can save yourself the trouble because you won't believe them.

Maybe that's why that Russian armor column outside Kiev, that was all over the news last year, is no longer outside Kiev.

I do not remember the exact context of the video. Were these guys Russian Army or volunteers from their local area? Regardless, if a Walmart toy can effectually achieve the consequence of a multimillion dollar apparatus then I take my hat off to the cheapskate. Russia has always prided itself on being able to militarily compete with a tiny budget.

Well, if you think the Russia military has a "tiny budget" then Ukraine's is microscopic.

Don't take my word for it, you can look it up. Russia's military budget was ten-times Ukraine's,.... and Reuters reports that they've double it since the start of the war. https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russia-doubl ... 023-08-04/

It's only thanks to NATO nations aid (we are not the only ones helping with that) that Ukraine has been able to fight with more than just the limited amount of old soviet equipment they had before the invasion.
