BREAKING: Federal Judge Strikes Down Interstate Handgun Transfer Ban..

In a ruling issued today, a Federal judge has declared that the longstanding ban on gun dealers selling handguns to residents in different states is not only unconstitutional under the Second Amendment, but also violates other fair trade provisions of the United States Constitution. The full decision is available here, but from what I can tell this looks to be a major win for the Citizen’s Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Louis Bonham, one of TTAG’s consulting lawyers, wrote the following analysis of the ruling:

That would be bad news for me if it goes through. Kittery Trading Post always has some handguns that I couldn't live without. This would mean I could buy them without the shipping and another FFL check locally.

About time we see some good news! So sick of reading of the constant barrage against The Constitution by our government.

🥳

Most of the gun laws on the books are unconstitutional. But every win helps.

Gun control is falling left and right. If the trend continues this law which may have never really been law may be overturned. Since it is legal to own full auto it should not be restricted to the apx 250k guns that fell under that law.

The value of those guns went through the roof so they became unaffordable for most people. If this law is overturned the collectors of these guns are going to take a bath.

Conversion kits for AR's anyone.....

ACTION: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Sen. Orrin Hatch may soon give the President authority to write gun control restrictions into a “trade agreement.”

Good luck with that ! :D

Everytime they try to grab guns, it just increases gun sales. When they try to restrict ammo, the manufactures can't keep up with demand. Just look at how many years it's been tough to find 22 rimfire in consistent quantities.

If the gun grabbers ever figure out how good their best efforts have been for helping the firearms and ammo industry, their heads will explode ! :D

All laws that attempt to regulate a right are void ... don't believe gov't officials when they tell you otherwise. Otherwise you have no rights at all , just permissions.

Gov't does not give you rights .. you have had them before you were born.
