Hello all first post,

I'm breaking into coal stoves for the first time and I picked up a Splendid Oak 25 the other day that needs some work. Specifically, it needs the finial, lower skirt, and handle for the ash door. Its rough but solid, I'll try and attach pictures soonest. Finding these parts (or a donor stove) is what I'm looking for. Any help is appreciated.

I have a stove and it is in pretty good condition. No major rust through. Seems to have all its handles and doors. One "fin" on the right side is broke (lack of a better name for it). I have pictures if you're interested.

How did this project go? I have a splendid oak that came with our old home when we bought it.

Years, before I got around to it. :D As you can see, still missing some parts. Two handles and the original Finial. Here is where I am so far, and what I started with. The hunt continues.

That's a very nice stove. It sure looks better than it used to.
