Since you're not fiddling with it, what are you now doing with your spare time?
I enjoy watching it run, measuring coal and ash, making comparisons and such.. I got tight on time last fall getting things up and running so I also have more plumbing to do this summer.

One thing that all hate about my furnace is how dirty everything s in the house.
Yes I had a lot of ash dust with the hand fed also, even though I tried hard not to. There has been a lot less dust since running the Axeman this season.
It looks like the lows will be in the lower 30s here for at least a week and highs don't want to go out of the 40s for a while either.
Like I said, if the propane would heat the house comfortably, I'd be glad to let it do it.
I still have lots and would like to use some so I can get a fill up.
Haven't checked prices but, if it's like oil, it should be pretty cheap
I have more than enough coal to last but almost out of wood.
I thought I would have more coal left than what I do, though
