Hand Fed Coal Stove: Hitzer 983 double door
Coal Size/Type: Anthracite/Eastern Kentucky Bit-

Post by freki »

When adding coal I opened up the window wash and the door spinners all the way. It only took about 20-30 minutes for the black smoke to stop. After that I just closed it up to maintain the burn and it went great. Thanks for the tips for needing more over air in my burn.

Wow! Don’t know how I missed this. That 983 is sharp! I like the silver better than the gold.

I have a similar 354 double door.
