Justin got back to me today said he is doing a few loads this year. I sent him an address. We’ll see if he wants to make a trek to northwestern CT.

He texted back to me yesterday afternoon asking me what size I was looking for. I forgot to tell him I was looking for nut so I'll wait to see when he gets back to me with a price. I texted him on his cell number which is located a page back in this thread.

Considering this topic was started in 2014 and there is no complaints AFAIK I presume it has worked out.waytomany?s wrote: ↑Sun. Aug. 30, 2020 8:35 am Did this work out for you guys? Did you have to pay cash?
As far as the cash goes if it were me delivering that far it would be up front deposit on at least half of it, coal wouldn't leave until the check cleared. Cash for the balance.

He never got back to me after the first correspondence so I bought three tons of Lehigh from a local guy.

I can't speak for Justin but AFAIK he is just small operator, don't know how much he does. Regardless of who is doing this if it's 10 hour round trip or whatever there is a lot of money on the line. I never had to worry about that because they were local, farthest trip might of been 4 hours round trip. In the rare cases where I couldn't deliver I always had customers in the area I could contact to take it. I had one customer it was open delivery option that used a lot of coal, if I needed to fill out the truck with a few ton I could always take it to him.
