Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, and Tubi are three good ones that are free.

Got Roku channel, also did newsnow Tubi i have but will decide how it offers anything Roku doesn't. Looking for NASCAR, but that's only on premium channels...Suks! WE will see. Not a big movie watcher, more into Discovery and such.

We went with YouTube TV and it is loaded with sports channels which is why I went with it. Has been wonderful far except I started at $40/month a few years ago and now it's $60 but they have added a lot of channels (of which we don't watch). Still WAY ahead from the $150/month I was paying Dish Network and I don't lose signal when it's raining or snowing.

A few updates: We switched to fiber internet from the local phone company. Went from 20up/100down with Spectrum to 150up/150down with fiber for less $$ per month. Cut the old spectrum cables right off the house and installed a few commercial WIFI access points in the house, amazing WIFI signal and speed everywhere now.

Bought a network TV tuner (https://www.silicondust.com/product/hdhomerun-flex-duo/) so we can watch our local channels on the TV's that do not have coax cable from antenna run to them. Next project is to upgrade my PLEX server so I can use the Live TV/DVR functionality with the network tuner.

This will allow us to watch antenna TV with a channel guide and DVR on any TV in the house. Currently we have a TIVO that works great, but it is only usable on the living room TV.

So the tuner, if I have it figured right, you add an antenna to it and it attaches to your wifi and then you can watch tv anywhere in the house thru your wifi, correct? I use an old school agile modulator but I can see how your gadget would be slick to use. Im assuming 4 tvs in the house could be on and each watching a different channel?

The tuner requires an Ethernet cable to connect your network. The model I have only supports two channels at the same time, but they offer models that can do four.

I finished getting my network tuner setup with my PLEX server. Channel guide works great, and I have started recording some shows. The system has plenty of power, I successfully watched 3 different 1080p videos at the same time as recording a 4th stream.

A bit more info on the rest of the system - I am running two Dell Optiplex PC's that are 6-7 years old. One PC is running pfSense firewall software, which is free and very customizable. The second PC is running TrueNAS, which is also free and supports PLEX as a plugin. I have a folder shared on our network that I can drop media into and then access via PLEX on any of the Roku devices.

I also pulled some ethernet cable and setup an Aruba WIFI access point in the middle of the house, and another in my basement office (signal is otherwise weak due to chimney). Huge improvement in WIFI signal strength compared to my previous setup.
