Anyone have any good venison recipes?
My brother in law gave me a very good simple recipe.
Take a couple of venison steaks and pound them to about 1/4"
Make a 50/50 mix of soy sauce and maple syrup. Enough to cover the steaks.
Marinate the steaks overnight then throw on the grill.

Here are a few from the Wyeth-Ayerst employees cook book. I have not tried these particular recipes, but the other recipes I have tried from this cookbook have been excellent. It was sure a great group of people to work with.

I like the taste of venison too much to add any flavoring except a dash of salt, Fried of course. Im a boring cook to watch I'd rather eat venison than beef or pork any day of the week.

Im afraid of it after reading about the Zombie deer with the brain wasting (mad cow). Even cooking it dont change the danger if it has that. PA is not one of the states on the list for it but im still a little worried. Wife makes a great stew with it.
