I'm going to have to strongly suggest 6 minutes to get water onto a fire is a bit optimistic unless you are in dense urban area with full time firefighter protection. Note that 6 minutes isn't from the time it starts either, it's from the time it is detected. The issue with these fires is how they can become intense almost instantly.
That said is the proposed solution to send firefighters directly next to this burning vehicle to chain it up and then use a telescoping hoist to lift the car? Something I will note they didn't show.
I realize this is just a test so they have better understanding of how to fight these fires but for the general public appears to pointless.

Well, ICE vehicles lack the propensity to spontaneously burst into raging, explosive flames, so I suspect the urgency isn't quite there.
