The 1st gen Cummins will run on literally ANY oil. Motor oil (if warm enough outside), ATF, lubricants, etc.. :D

And here in central NY they refer to mid-winter as, "the gray months". Because of all the cloudy weather off the great lakes we don't get enough sun to make solar worth it. Thanks to lake effect, we haven't had more than an hour or two of sunshine in over a week.

The ol' man was great! My grandfather would've had a similar reaction if he were still around. He'd have turned 118 this year.

Yeah, MA in the winter is about like the Pacific Northwest - perpetual gray, gloom, and doom! SUCKS!! I see so many people with those panels on their roofs. Can't be doing *censored* this time of year with the clouds and 9 hours of sun on a good day!
