Thanks snuffy I will ask my doctor about it next time I go in to see my oncologist.snuffy wrote: ↑Mon. Sep. 02, 2024 6:31 pm Ziggy,
I just logged in and saw your note. A few minutes ago I watched something on WFMZ health beat, an Allentown TV station that talked showed a new way to liquify liver tumors and no side effects. It's liver tumors now and more coming. The more you know the better. Here is the web page link: Look for Liquifying Liver Tumors

You may want to ask about what comes with the chemo. I'm over two years finished with it and have lingering neuropathy in hands but mainly in the feet. They have gloves and socks that chill and it reduces blood flow to those areas reducing the impact of the chemo. Mine isn't painful but it is unnerving. Just a thought. It may not start until after the chemo is finished and by then it is impossible to prevent.

I am off the heavy chemo for now. That drug is cold sensitive and causes neuropathy. The chemo pills I take cause hand pain. We are taking a break next round for one round to let my hands heal. My team was up front with me on those side effects and have monitored me closely. Thanks for thinking of that for me.coaledsweat wrote: ↑Tue. Update for everyone.
Well things are going well currently. Last ct scans came back good. Maintenance chemo is holding the disease back for now. I had 2 breaks from treatment over thanksgiving and Christmas which has been nice!
Still working, probably too much but it keeps my mind occupied. 60 hours a week is enough currently.
Cheers
