Yes Sounds promising, but as yet unproven on a wide scale.We thought we were toast 15yrs ago until the shale boom so anything can happen. As far as iv been reading the biggest problem id they are not drilling enough new wells to offset the existing depletion rate along with new demand,so its somewhat of a financing problem.waytomany?s wrote: ↑Mon. I was surprised that the recovery percentage was so low. I always assumed it was much higher. I guess CCS is actually beneficial, who knew?k-2 wrote: ↑Mon. You cant get clear picture just using oil barrels produced per day. The Oil barrels they are counting today are about 40% NGL . Not even really crude oil. AND 40% of that is ethane mostly used to make plastic bags. Ethane has less than half of the energy density of crude oil. Not the crude oil of the 70s and 80s. I think future shortages will be mainly diesel. That is what rose the most in price the last time around and had spot shortages. I think we will be importing more and more of that.

Coalway in Applecreek Ohio is sitting at 444 a ton bulk...... Looks like I'm buying some bitty this year can get it under 300 a ton west VA or KY...
