Is my timer broken?

My intermec cycle timer on efm coal furnace started making a loud clicking noise. The furnace still cycles on and off though. What needs done? Thank you in advance

Did you open it up and take a look?

If you say so. I’m not about to start venturing into something I know nothing about…especially electrical…but thanks for your expertise

Depending on the style, there's a cover. That is what I intended. You have to shut it off at the breaker before you go playing with wires etc. it's hard to see if something is caught, broken etc without it running though. Kinda hard to diagnose otherwise. What did you expect someone to say?
