One of my problems with Tesla is the nearest dealer is a 3 hour drive away and from what i know they are dealer servicing only at $150 to $200 per hour. Certainly a deal breaker. If cash were unlimited perhaps, but not on my paltry SS check.

I know that we got a letter than there was a recall on the Model Y we purchased. In the past with ICE vehicles that meant scheduling an appointment and coordinating trips to the dealer. IMHO dealer service has never been pleasant. Drop off at 7am fully expecting to be fixed same day only to receive a call in the afternoon that they needed to order a part. Like WTF? they knew why it was going in before I dropped it off...

Anyway the Tesla recall was nothing more than a software update that took place without me even knowing.

I can't say how much warranty work will need to be done. I hope none.

Tesla did an update on each of our cars in the last 5 days...

All while parked in my driveway...

None of our cars ever had ANY service at the service centers..
