Putin's idea of peace talks is Russia talks and everyone else just listens. He will stop fighting only if he gets to keep all of eastern Ukraine and Crimea, plus Ukraine is not allowed to join NATO or the EU. He wants a "neutral Ukraine", which really means neutered Ukraine.

He does not care about any so-called Russian people in Ukraine. He's shown that by having been pushing them into a war that has been killing them while he's been supplying them with military equipment and unmarked Russian troops for years, just to ferment more excuses for his Russian expansion. What he has wanted all along is to control the resource and industrial rich eastern part of Ukraine, plus Crimea with all Russia's Black Sea military bases so that he can control the Black Sea. And to protect his gas pipelines that he had been using to control Europe.

As for invading Ukraine to stop "NATO expansion" that's one of history's most lame and transparent excuses.

Right from the beginning, Russian aggression and expansion was responsible for causing the creation of NATO, and for each time NATO has expanded. Plus, Russia has long had, and now is getting more, NATO on its border and Putin has not attacked any of them to prevent "NATO expansion".

Then there is the Nazi claims by Putin. Yeah, 70+% of Ukrainians voted in a Jew as their President because there is so much Nazi control in Ukraine ? Another Russian whopper for the Lenin's useful idiots

300 historians - many Jewish - that specialize in the history of the Nazis, have come together to sign a statement that says the claims about Nazi control in Ukraine are just more Russian propaganda to justify the invasion.

That is your opinion. Maybe you covered it and have it settled in your own mind. According to Putin, he is willing to negotiate peace.

Many people feel they have more than an opinion. Some feel they are an expert. I simply have an opinion. I am no expert. My opinion is the sooner peace is negotiated the better Ukraine will be.

I personally give someone the right to prove that they are not willing to do what they say instead of logically deducing that they will not do what they say.

If I were in the position to negotiate with Putin, I would find out what it takes for peace and put the pressure on him to do as he says. Of course people will say Putin won't seek peace unless..... or he won't ever do xyz.... People do not know what he will or will not do until he does it.

In the end, Russia will win, Ukraine will lose, the USA will be weaker and more hated/disliked than before the conflict. USA stands a chance of being stretched too thin and deteriorating its position as a dominant global leader even further by its involvement in these foreign conflicts. USA should worry about their own internal affairs and domestic mess.

However, there is quite a bit about Scott Ritter if you do a search of his name. Ex-weapons inspecter and convicted child sex offender, now turn Russian mouthpiece.

It is standard procedure when someone does not like or agree with a narrative to attack the narrator. I do not claim to be in the know. The only thing I know, is that if true, it confirms my opinion that there are powerful nations that are not happy with the USA.

It is standard procedure when someone can't justify a claim to say any questioning of the claim's credibility is just being made against the claimer, when they can't come up with anything more to back up the claim.

Maybe you can explain why there is nothing (other than that one video) about BRIC ships going into the Red Sea to help the Houthis, as if they were going up against the other nations that are defending shipping in the Red Sea (The US is one of ten Navies protecting the shipping route) ?

The Houthis have also been attacking ships of nations that have nothing to do with what has been going on in Gaza and Syria in an attempt to shut down one of the World's busiest shipping lanes, which by the way also include shipping by BRIC member nations.

And don't you find it strange that whoever made that video has to use a convicted sex offender to try and add credibility, but there is nothing else to be found on the web about that Red Sea claim ?

I posted a video of what someone says is happening. I have no opinion as to whether it happened or not.

I do however, think that the USA is gaining enemies and that something like what happened in the video would not surprise me now or in the future.

And how many of those are coming across the southern border in the colossal security breach of 10 million illegals many of whom are military age men. The entire number of the 3 largest military's on the planet combined is a mere 4.3 Million .

There are still some that insist Russia is doing fine and the sanctions are not hurting them. Well then, I guess a more than double increase in their commercial planes dropping out of the sky because they can't get parts is just normal for them.

Talented pilots.
Imagine if the USA is unable to get items from China, or rare earth metals, or??? from whomever. The narrative would be completely different.
To think the USA will be in the dictatorial role of being able to mandate what the rest of the world does and who leads them, is pretty short sighted. One day the financially broken over leveraged USA will not be in the favor of other countries that have supplies. It will be simply business. Okay, pay me what you already owe me before I send you anything else.
I ran many businesses and would rather not sell to an entity than sell to an entity that cannot pay me.
USA treats China like an enemy. If I am not mistaken China supplies most of what the USA uses and consumes. If or when the USA gets into a pissing contest with China, the USA will not be the winner.
It is not out of the question that one day the USA is a third world country.
I don't think the world is in favor of Fat, Obese, Couch Potatoes with no logic or reasoning skills dictating what others do. Most of the USA workers have worthless jobs and skills. They are extreme with extreme ideologies. Pretty much entitled and think their gender bending queer ideology and climate change and..... is what the rest of the world wants.
I personally don't want men in dresses with amputated sexual organs telling me or my children how to live or what to do. The filth and chaos in the USA along with the rotten Politics is not shining an exemplary light on the USA. Not to mention its failing aged infrastructure.
I think it would be wise to create and maintain diplomatic relations with other countries.
I got divorced from my first wife that we had 2 kids together. I found that the wise thing was to treat it like business. Don't piss the ex off, treat the kids good, and get thru the time with as little turmoil as possible until the child support was over. I was never once called into court or had any issue with the ex or the kids. As the kids turned adolescent at one point or another both lived with me for an extended period of years and during that time I still paid child support. Why? The ex could still pay for their clothing, health care.... It didn't matter to me my kids were and are welcome to stay with me anytime. Those kids are now responsible adults. One has 4 kids of her own the other a Tree Arborist in Jackson Hole WY. I am still cordial with the ex. I don't look at the failed relationship as her fault for being a selfish biotch.. I look at the marriage as a 12 year mistake on my part for allowing myself to get into and remain into that relationship. Bottom line is I didn't repeat the mistakes in my second relationship. There is no control in my current marriage of 30 years. I do not care what she thinks or does. She is an independent person that can live her life as she chooses and be the person she is. She is my best friend to this day.
I think it is very easy to create enemies and it really doesn't take a lot of work to not create them. Simply mind your own business. USA doesn't mind its own business.
One day the USA will be surrounded by countries that truly dislike them and have valid reasons for that dislike.

Imagine years from now when Russia has taken over Ukraine and a relationship has been cultivated. My guess is that people that lost loved ones and had to deal with the destruction will not be angry with Russia or Putin but the EU and USA for stoking the flames and pushing them to go to war with Russia.

Only time will tell.

If nothing else is shows that there is more than one fact based ideology on the conflict. Those that are all in for Ukraine won't even hear it. All they believe is unprovoked invasion of sovereign nation....can't believe anything Putin says... Russia bad.... I like RFK on many issues.

Oh, don't kid yourself, we hear it, but we know it's just BS and not "fact based".

Here's more of why you can't believe your so-called "fact based" lies that Putin spues. And this is not an "opinion", or "propaganda", or what some "believe", this is well known and documented historical FACTS. Facts that Putin totally ignored, and his Lenin's useful Idiots fell for it because those "all in for" Putin can't bother to actually read history to see through his lies.

Try seeking what Lenin meant when he said, "useful Idiots" and who the useful idiots were.
