He's pro-abortion...a no-no to get my vote.

He's anti-gun ..a no-no to get my vote.

Its too bad, he drives the DEMs crazy

And to counter a pro-abortion talking point "abortions prevents kids from growing up in poverty"...I heard a good counter-point "So, you go and tell kids who are living in poverty now that they would have been better off not being born ?"

Things change. I still won't vote for him due to this issue. Not that my vote would send him over the top. lol

I applaud your firm stance David. I never believed him to be pro life in the proper terms but I think he seems to have done a good job being faithful to his claims to act and support pro life stuff. Pretty sure he was the only president to ever attend the walk for life, that's embarrassing! It's sad to admit that a lot of politicians stand for things they can get votes on, even thought their personal convictions are different. Shouldn't be that way! I wonder what would happen if you said to someone who is pro death, "I wish you had been aborted" when they stand horrified that's the proof in the pudding that they know it's wrong. If something isn't wrong, then why would it be offensive to suggest it? Would it be offensive to say "I wish you owned a gun" or "I wish you had married parents" or "I wish you had an ev instead of a ice" or "I wish you weren't on daylight savings time" or "I wish you were homeschooled". But as soon as you turn it around, the difference between morals and opinion get clear, enough rant! I hope someone truly pro abolitionist runs!

Maybe that's why dems are soft on crime. Murder is just late term abortion to them.

Trump gave us the Supreme Court that made it a state issue. Thats a win in my book. Probably the biggest win he got.

Where in the article you referenced does it say he's pro abortion or anti gun? I see neither.

He won't vote for abortion restrictions = he's pro-abortion

And he's anti-gun (article does not mention this)...his direction to bump stock ban shows his ignorance with guns and easy of which he supported and directed the AFT to ban bump stocks. Due to LA shooter who did even use a bump-stock gun.

I didn't see that as a win. They should have recognized the right to be born and flip-flopped Roe decision by 32000 degrees.

The court's decision in Bruen was nice...not perfect but nice. I never thought I'd see Heller I added to in my lifetime. Heller 1 was a wishy-washy decision. Bruen ironed out most of the wrinkles.

The recent injunction issued concerning the pistol brace rule of the ATF (stopping enforcement of anti-brace ATF rule) by a Biden appointed judge shows the powerful decision of Bruen.

A couple hours ago..out of 5th appellate court

Did you misstate this? He won't push for abortion ban he believes in restrictions. How does that make him pro abortion?

I guess millions of MAGA voters have been wrong thinking he’s pro-life…oh…and the Amish who visited the WH as well.

I guess all the words they’ve heard Trump speak was/is just mumbo jumbo to get a vote.

No…he didn’t misstate it. He probably actually believes Trump isn’t pro-life.

Meanwhile those same MAGA voters voted in the first presidential candidate (even Dems believe this) in history to keep nearly all of his campaign promises. It’s no wonder those same voters think DeSantis has pigeonholed himself. He’s now running against a man they know will keep his word and a man who helped DeSantis get where he is. No…Ron will get few true MAGA voters…but maybe a few independents.

Those "exceptions" have always been less than 5% of all abortions. Trump being just for that small percentage of exceptional circumstances does not make your all-or-nothing argument valid.

By your logic all killings would be murder, so no one would be allowed self-defense.

And banning bump stocks does not make him anti-gun, just anti-bump stock.
