Hi , missed out on buying a coalbrookdale Darby stove it went for £102 , which is no money . Was going to buy it but when I got quotes from the courier service to pick it up , because it weighs 241 kg the cheapest quote was £530 !The stove needed work as well so even though it was cheap to buy the delivery price Put it in a price bracket that was above what I could sell it for . Love the look of the Darby stove , think if I didn’t have my America baseburner that would be the stove I would look to have in the orangery .You know you have the stove bug when you buy stoves and haven’t anywhere in the house to fit them 😂😂🤣.

Hi , Just a note to say that I sold the stove to a couple in Scotland that are having a house built in the Highlands. They were really pleased with it and I was glad it was going to a good home 🏡.

Yeah Fred, Glad to see the stove go to a nice couple who will appreciate it, especially in Scotland, it can get really cold up there in winter!

Hey guys I'm new her I know most of you guys are across the pond . All I wanted to say is I just picked up A CoalBrookdale Darby few weeks ago I put it in my Camp in Maine this stove is unbelievable best stove I have ever owned only used for week or so. So far only burnt wood can't imagine how this thing will work with coal when it gets colder ? There is a place over here that has fair amount of parts ?

Hi Scotty p i have been using the Darby since new in 1990.have wood in it now but it is a great coal burner fill and let it go NO messing around so forgiving. your last sentence do you know of a place that has parts or are you asking. always looking for a supplier. Thanks, and good luck with the Darby.
