I used to use Direnzos as well until the went out of stock. Then I found out a friend of mine actually has a coal and fuel oil business (Mengles coal and oil) . They are in Weatherly PA they sell Blashack in bulk it was 200 Per ton picked up back in the middle of Dec. If you have a way to pick it up id give them a shot. I believe they deliver as well.
Direnzo is sold

BXtXh all we want but that is the free market system. Vote with your pocketbook. If Jeddo is putting out a good quality coal for nearly half the price, have at it.

Rice and Nut...
TT loads...

It's been over 30 years since I burned any, so useless info now. It was very hard as Hazleton area coal is known for. Someone posted a week ago that they picked up for $198/ton. Member KingCoal got a TT load to the West a while back. Likely didn't burn any yet but maybe he could rate how clean. Some older posts mention fines and range on size.
Most of the other Hazleton area mines and breakers are under Atlantic Carbon now. "Stockton, Hazleton Shaft, Jeansville and Spring Mountain Mines together with three anthracite processing plants." Jeddo is their own master, AFAIK. Their website states that they use both jig and heavy media in processing.

I use Jeddo's coal. In my Axeman there was only a very marginal difference between it and Lehigh. In comparative testing they had nearly the same ash percentage and nearly the same pounds per HDD (heat output).
