What do ya all make of this?

Obviously I'm having a he'll of a time getting it running right as it's In dire need of maintenance that I will be making sure happens.

Don't own the house comes part of dairy job, i seem to only today managed to seal it up well enough to bank up for more then 2hrs. We have put around 1.3T (400nzd) in just a month trying to be warm lol can't keep that up!

Any pointers appreciated

Welcome! Are you in the Southern Hemisphere (nzd = New Zealand dollars?)? We're a bit toatsy north of the equator today - 97F on the east coast of USA right now. The board is a bit slow in the summer months of the year up here but someone will be by shortly to help you out. If not too soon, the search function may also get you the info you're looking for. Post up some pics once you got her up and running!

Open the door and get a picture of the fire burning and post it up. Most newbies are used to wood and coal is a whole new ballgame, pics of the fire will show us where you're at.

Also, what kind of coal are you burning?

They are the only two types of coal available to me, I do think tho that our subbitimus is shinier then what you guys have over there?

That's where she's at now after 10hrs of not touching it at after banking up to just over top of bottom door.. that has what remains of a fire brick on the back of it. And was a little pilled up in middle. Prolly pretty close to a 50.50 brown.bitimus lignite

These are the 2 grades available to me, price here plus shipping is

Ohai coal (subbitimus) 185nzd
New vale (brown lignite) 65nzd per 500kgs

Any opinions as to what you think with that. Rather steap price difference.
