Hi , Just wondered what temp ( in Fahrenheit) you run your stoves at ? And what you consider a safe maximum temp to run it at without damage . I’ve been running mine at 625 f at the firepot with just a small amount of primary air, which keeps the back of the house nice and warm . Know this is dependant on your make and model of stove , but it’s just a general idea . Thanks .

Whatever temp I need to stay warm, but usually 300-500 in cold weather. If it gets to 500 I light my 2nd stove. That is with my thermometer near the top on the side. Maybe 6 inches down.

For the GW #6, 500 to 550 F at the barrel just above the firepot skirt. Firepot is brick lined so temps there are a bit lower.

When just using the kitchen range for heating, the firebox end of the cooktop is 550 to 600. For cooking and baking, I have it go higher. For last nights stove-top pizza it was about 800 F.

650 around the clinker doors. The fire pot skin can get up to 800, it will cool off from ash building up.

I don't push the Royal that hard.

The range is anywhere from 120-400 inside the pipe 3ft above cooktop. If that don’t keep house warm the anthramax gets lit n ran at whatever it needs to stay warm
