Hello guys, I am currently shopping for some fittings for my boiler, and did find out that I got in/out nipples in G2 standard. I tried NPT thread but it doesn't fit. Checked Home Depot, HH, Lowe's, all of them have NPT thread only.
Did some Google search. But its rather confusing, the G2 is the same as BSP thread?
I need the only two 90 degrees elbows with G2 thread (female elbow) and 2" size, the rest I build with NPT.
Does anyone know good website that can sell both G2 and NPT fittings?
This time I will need 2" fittings, elbows, ball valves, y-strainer...etc
They should be able to send items to Canada
Looking for metric fittings

Google BSPT (British Standard Pipe Thread), find out what size you have and then google the same with the NPT size adapter. Amazon has them, not cheap but you only need a few.

Am I reading this right? You need two adapters from the BSPT to NPT at your boiler tapings? Just get two BSPT (male) X NPT (female) bushing adapters and plumb everything NPT. Am I correct? Cheaper than elbows I would wager.
Do not use stainless steel! It isn't compatible with steel and will gall the threads if you need to remove it.
