There's a glow in the stove & the coffee is hot. Blueberry pancakes can hit the griddle any time. It's a tough meal though.... no Maine maple syrup left. We're going to have to use Vermont made. ;)

Snow.... cold.... dang, it's winter! They say a bit of rain after the weekend, but there's no denying it's an early, snowy winter. I hope everyone has enough coal to get through.

Scotty is OUT of the one match club! (And I am one dollar richer....He only had to make it till Christmas!) You would think with a girly boiler Axeman Anderson it wouldn't be that hard to keep it going. LOL

I have a girlfriend! What a wonderful week it's been. Debbie had this idea that we should be best friends first..... "Cookin' lasts, kissin' don't" type thoughts, ya know?. It turns out we quickly found we are good friends, best friends. Sooo... we thought perhaps we would share a first kiss on Christmas eve. Well... that idea happened on the fifth, and somehow we thought Christmas was only ten days away. Once we realized that it was 20 days away, Ummmm.... well....the idea was quaint, but it kind of fell through.

Hope you all have a smooth weekend!

Hi guys

Wing night last night, almost 500 lbs of chicken wings and we still sold out 45 minutes early. I am still wrecked.

Need to get to the garage and open up. Dad has not been feeling good and he got the call last night that he tested positive for pneumonia again. This is gonna be a rough Winter here.

Congrats on the girl, Fred! We are very happy for you. My Pap always said “For every pot out there, there is a lid to fit it someplace”.

Mernin all,

Pass the sausage and pancakes please! Let the boiler die overnight. Good cleanout today to get ready for "real" cold weather. Will probably install my variable speed fan control too. Church supper tonight, lots of good food.
Safe and warm everyone.

Good morning! Big day cleaning up around here, the wifey is working. Gotta rack over my blackberry wine and clean up my truck. Then meet for lunch with friends to discuss building them an addition. Need a money job as the cash flow in the cabinet business is to slow. Speaking of which,
download/file.php?mode=view&id=98989

I just started spraying Monday morning, my business partner was skeptical that I could get the results we wanted. He refused to believe spraying cars and bridges over 30 years ago would have benefit. I sprayed the backs of the doors and drawers first, and by the time I started the faces I could lay down a very nice finish.

Congrats of the friend Freddy, life is to short and the winters to long up there.
Gotta go get busy, enjoy the weekend!

Kevin

Good morning. My coal chores are done, chickens have fresh water & food, and the Expedition is full of gas. Two hockey game this afternoon, and then Andrea and I are headed to a Christmas party in Burlington VT. We are spending the night over there, and headed back tomorrow morning.

I can hear the kids playing floor hockey in the living room...better get them some eggs and sausages before we blast off.

Have a good weekend everyone. :out:

Good morning people, Everything is spot on this morning in the Coffee House Freddy. I see everyone is busy doing their living life thing!
We went to a friends Christmas party last night and we have the family one tonight, and a work one next Saturday :o I'm going to be partied out by the end of the month.
It hasn't been real cold here yet so our coal usage is low to date and now my wife like the house around 74° and not 78° like last year :D .
Have a good weekend people, CJ I hope your dad feels better soon.

Nice pics-"Grandkids"...you gotta love 'em. Remember when you tried to get your kids to mow the lawn......always an excuse to get out of it. Grandkids.....no hassle, "Grandpa, what can I do to help?"
My grandson lives 600 feet away. May God bless them, always.
Cheers
