Lithium and water don't mix.

Lithium plus water = fire

It's as simple as that.

Does your EV also come with comfortable walking shoes ? Brownouts in hot weather, blackouts when the wind blows,.....

Just another day in paradise.

How do you tell the morons it's not climate change it's called weather.

As Steely Dan said ... here comes those Santa Ana winds again ... Well if those Babylon Sisters sued their utility company to dust and they can't raise money to fix anything. Plus they end up with super high utility bills. As the state can't loan the money as they are nearly bankrupt they had better get used to the dark ages. Of course, they have money to give fee health care to illegals .... ya can't fix stupid.

A small miss, no cigar there either https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Califo ... arget.html

Sounds funner than throwing bottles filled with gas into a bonfire! Perhaps they will invent lithium powered campfires.

On the bright side you can always purchase a generator with one of those obsolete ICE engines to charge your EV.

I can imagine no more terrifying moment than trying to outrun a forest fire and being out of charge and sitting in that bomb.

What begins in California eventually infects the rest of the country, it's kind of like watching your parents suffer from Alzheimers and realizing you're their progeny. Interestingly enough they dressed up the chicken poop in your story to look more like chicken soup.

Musk says he will have all of the power stations being cut off by the utility company back up and running on solar power within a few weeks. He said the exact same thing over 2 years ago.

Harley have been trying to make a reliable bike for 100 years .... still trying. The Marlin Brando crowd do not have the money or the inclination to buy a $30,000 electric bike. I coulda told them that one. So they made an excuse not to release.

The Steve Mcqueen crowd here is also laughing that the electric Mustang plans that they have to keep delaying. The GT500 with no manual option .... clueless.

Where do they get these idiots that run these companies. All they need is good marketing.

Who has the oldest age target group, the HD riders or the Cadillac crowd. I need to watch Bullitt again.

Yes, they all have to engage a younger age group but the save the planet c rap is not working. If you can sell a $!00,000 truck to a 20 year old then it can be done if you know your market.

Agree with CN... Deere chose to ignore the requests of the farmer nor listen to their wants and needs for over 50 years. As a result John Kinzenbaw (Kinze) has single-handedly built one of the most prosperous and largest privately held equipment manufacturing companies in the world. All of this simply by listening to the man, building what he wanted, and filling the needs that the larger companies did not bother with.

Deere tried taking him to the cleaners with the planter lawsuit and he not only won the lawsuit but the court declared Deere’s planter patents to be invalid due to prior work. All of this against some of the most powerful attorneys in the world.

The consumer drives the market, not the manufacturer. These companies need a jolt back to reality at times, markets do not lie.

CN, Harley has been floundering but you see new ones being bought every day by all age groups.

Now Cadillac on the other hand is looking for the younger crowd as well as the ones with all that disposable income.

Take a look at their CTS-V, a 640HP monster, with price tag to match of course. Wish I had that extra change kicking around!
