I am a new owner of a Petit Godin 3720. I wanted a small wood/ coal stove to supplement or replace propane furnace. I have been reading everything I can get my hands on about these stoves. I can't seem to find an owners manual anywhere.
I read an excerp today about having to have the Godins run up through an existing fireplace......
Is this true?
If so I have made a big mistake.
I don't have a fireplace. I thought I could install it through the roof with a double walled support box and double walled pipe. Can anyone help with the answer to my dilemma?

Your plan to go through the roof with insulated pipe is fine

Send me a private message with your email address and I'll send you the 2012 manual I have. It is in French though, so you may need to use google translate or ask our French speaking members for help.
