Made the trip to skips place today and brought some friends with me, we got the grand tour of his home and shop.
Can’t say enough, super nice and accomidating he had the exact gas side car I needed for my odd ball kitchen range, I left with another kitchen cookstove and parts for my g8 and more.
If anyone that’s into old stoves hasn’t been there give the man a call and make the trip it’s well worth it, can’t wait to go back in the spring !

Yup! Wilson(skip), with his knowledge, and craftsmanship, with his colonial home, is a part of "American History". It's a nice road trip.
Happy to hear he had what you needed.
Cheers

Got the tour when I picked up my GW #6. Was so interesting talking with Wilson, and fascinating seeing all the stoves and his work, that the time flew by.

Have no fear, Bob, Sir William's legacy lives no. Thanks to his efforts to promote these wonderful old stoves, built at the height of coal burning knowlege, there are many dozens more of us "Antiquer's" on here, now. And the number is still growing.
And William's beloved stoves continue on, as he would want. They now have new homes among our members.
