Looks like an old 70's vintage Arctic Cat Panther sitting there too!

We had a couple Polaris Indy Trails (500c) for a few years, but the cost of gas, having to haul them to where we needed to ride, etc...got to be not worth it, and now in NY they charge like $75-100 for registration if you are not in a club.

We only went out twice last year. Hopfully we will get some snow that will stick around this year and the price of gas will be lower. $100 to fill both sleds last year, but it was worth it.

OLD THREAD...

To ever get any use here one needs to trailer long distance to get good snow.

These ARCTIC CAT's are to be sold at auction today and I could by one or both...the one on right says JAG on it, the left one is plain to see is a PANTHER.
I would flip them or else part them out...Are these just plain Jane sleds?

Yup, and not worth much at all really. Like old motorcycles, the cost to get them up and running if you can't do it yourself will fast approach any value they have. Even if you can, they still are only $3-500 dollar sleds.

If you ever get the chance to ride a newer one, you'll immediately know why. Motors, suspensions are so far advanced now it's like driving a model A in a Corvette stampede.

Sledding has really sucked here in Ashtabula county Ohio for several years , claimed to be the sled capital of the state. My wife and I both have sleds and belong to a local club. She drives a 2008 Yamaha Phaser and I drive a 2012 Artic cat F1100 Turbo. No pics at the moment.

Not much better here until Superbowl Sunday. That seems to be when we get hit. Sure wastes a lot of winter though waiting.
