Anyone heard if tractor supply will be selling coal again this year? A friend of mine asked someone at the store in Rochester New Hampshire and they said no. He said she didn't even look it up so its possible that she just didn't want to bother.

I recently spoke with the manager in my town and he said he should be getting news some time in July. He's waiting for the go ahead to take orders.

I talked to the manager in Mt.Pleasant, Pa last month . She said you could place an order in June. I haven't ordered any yet . I was wondering if price would be the same as last year. Ill be going out that way in about a week and will check at that time. ;)

I just returned from TSC in Millinocket, Maine and the manager said he would be getting rice and pea in July. No 'nut size this yr, no problem as I can burn 'nut or pea in my stoves.

I just spoke to customer service in the Norwich, NY, Hamilton, NY and Sidney, NY stores and they will be selling coal this year at $5.00/bag; $250/ton but if you order between July 6th and July 26th you will save $25.00/ton. All three stores will be receiving only Rice and Nut.

$225/ton is the same price as local supplier; Neumann Coal Supply in North Norwich, NY for Blackshak bulk all sizes.

Tractor Supply is a joke.

When I spoke to them in Southwick this morning, they told me $374.50 per ton less the discount. The customer service girl said, "well we have no competition so that's the price". UFB, I almost fell on the floor laughing! I didn't want to argue so I left. If you can get it at $225 a ton that's good for Kimmels I guess.

Does Neumann's still charge a delivery fee in addition to the coal per ton price ?

Last year he was the same price per ton as the dealer I've been using for 11 seasons, but the delivery fee made him more expensive. He's only four miles from me and my dealer is 20 miles away.

Paul,

I am not sure what Neuman's delivery charge is. I live right in North Norwich so I just drive down with truck and pick it up. Where do you live?

Price at tractor supply in Plattsburgh is 300/ton, and in July you'll get 25$ off so 275/ ton, which is about 20-30 dollars cheaper than normal, big difference from last years prices!
