I wanted to share this bit of coal region history that links my family solidly to the coal region. Harry Hayden was my wife's paternal great-grandfather on her grandmother's side. In the early 1890's he was also one heck of a fighter at 146 Lbs. and fough 118 fights throught the coal region for over 10 years.
I hope you'll enjoy reading this colorful 1940's newspaper article written about him. I certainly did. After you read this, you'll know why I never argue with my wife.
