I saw a home heater stove in the local hardware store, it was an older unit. I had never seen one before. I decided to Google and see if they still exist. They do! I saw they made a hand fired boiler. I'm just curious if anyone on here has one, or ha specs. I'd like to learn more about them. A Coal Stove/Hand Fired Boiler made in Vermont is pretty cool.

Stoker Coal Boiler: Gentleman Janitor GJ-5, Van Wert VA-600, Axeman Anderson130 X3.
Hand Fed Coal Furnace: Harman SF3500 reduced down to 3 grates connected to its own plenum
Coal Size/Type: Rice, Chestnut and whatever will fit through the door on the Harman
Other Heating: Noth'in but COAL! Well, Maybe a little tiny bit of wood

I had one of their stoves once. I sold it before I had a chance to use it though. It had grates similar to a Harman. It was BIG, and this was the small one. :o

Thanks for the pics. The one they had heating the feed and grain was a beast! Robust would be an understatement. I am curious about thier boiler.
