January 2016:

1,814 lbs. coal burned
I assume ~140 lbs. for DHW, and 1,674 for home heating
1,204 HDD's
1.390 lbs. per HDD (Blaschak, I presume)

January 2015:
-------------------
2,022 lbs coal burned
I assume ~140 lbs. for DHW, and 1,882 for home heating
1328 HDD's
1.417 lbs. per HDD (Stockton)

Im at just over a ton, say maybe 2200 lbs heat only.

Stoker Coal Boiler: Gentleman Janitor GJ-5, Van Wert VA-600, Axeman Anderson130 X3.
Hand Fed Coal Furnace: Harman SF3500 reduced down to 3 grates connected to its own plenum
Coal Size/Type: Rice, Chestnut and whatever will fit through the door on the Harman
Other Heating: Noth'in but COAL! Well, Maybe a little tiny bit of wood

Your down about 10% from last year Larry. Have you made changes to your system, or is it just warmer weather?
