This season I've upped my barometric damper actuation point to 0.06" as opposed to previous years at 0.04" (in order to overcome some issues with it sticking open), and low and behold I'm burning at the same pounds per HDD level as I have in years past (and better than in some years). To date the baro setting change has had no negative impact upon efficiency.

I would expect that result with a modern complex unit like yours. :)

The only way excessive negative pressure could impact efficiency would be if it was inviting more air in that's not contributing to combustion and is giving heat a free ride up the chimney.
