Thanks mike. So does that 12 lb/hr input in simple terms mean that if I want it to burn for 12 hours I need to put 144 lbs of coal in there? (12x12) and Of course this is approx

You're welcome. The 12 lb/hr is the most you would need to feed to run it continuously at its rated hand-fired capacity. Using the bottom door damper (and maybe an MPD) you could calm it down to use less coal and produce lower output.
