Yeah, resembles the Clayton internals but built into a boiler.
Single grate under tapered brick walls...not so good for coal, okay for wood.
Unusual with only bottom air, would encourage puff backs if/when opening upper door at wrong time.

Very similar to my stove and another members lightning, they can work very good with anthracite with just a couple tweaks, lightning already has all this covered in a thread for tending the Clayton furnace, check it out, there's so much great info here, make sure the great is in right side up, that makes a big difference to start with, if you need anything or any questions don't be afraid to ask! You'll do good with this. Fill the rest of your info in, someone might live close to you and can help you out

That is very similar to the Steel King I had. I recommend banking the coal when reloading with that V shaped firebox to avoid some issues.

Yes, absolutely.. Nut size works good and stove size works even better. I'm using a mix of both this year and love it so far. Please scrape the internal walls of the firebox right down to the metal. All that build up of funk in there will inhibit heat transfer to the water.
I assume it will be totally manual control of burn rate? If so, you'll want a barometric damper and a manometer installed. Both are cheap and easy. The manometer will be a huge help with getting the draft pressure right. The baro will keep heat output and burn rate steady.
Check the link in my signature. I use a furnace very similar to your boiler.
