Can anyone tell me where I can get some new grates for my New Yorker wc90 wood/coal water tube boiler. I have searched everywhere on the web but found nothing that even resembles these grates. Winter is arriving I would like to finish the boiler. I could get by with some redneck engineering but would rather just buy the right grates. Thank you so much in advance.

Contact New Yorker directly. They probably have them in stock.

They should have some distributors that have some spare parts around.
They are just too lazy to look for you. Try a large plumbing supply house
like Yeager Supply. They may know someone that has grates.

Thank you so much for the help I will try them. If there are any others that you can think of please let me know there are very few (no) big supply stores here in north western Maine.

Ouch! had not heard that they discontinued the WC (wood/coal) line of boilers. But their new website clearly omits the WC line. I can't help you with grates, as my WC 90 is in use ... but I'm wondering what happened to yours. If you need any help with your boiler, this is only my 2nd yr using mine, but I do run it yr round.
I'm guessing they made the decision to discontinue some time in 2013, hard to believe they had no spare parts or boilers in stock. I'll be calling them soon.

You'll need to contact a New Yorker distributor.
If you don't have one in your area, let me know.
I can put you in touch with Boyertown Supply, Inc. or
you can google them.
