I like the sound of new dealers. Hopefully that's a sign that the public is becoming more enlightened, (again) about the benefits of burning coal.

Like Wow man. Like that like button, I've heard about it on other sites, but never understood it's purpose. If some-one likes a post, wouldn't it make sense to reply to it, rather than "like" it?

Just took a peek in the EFM ash tub and I'm seeing some dark red ash!

Ash color will vary from vein to vein, and unfortunately we cannot know the color of the ash until the coal is burned. We do test our coal and yes the ash color varies from time to time, but as far as ash percentage by weight we always are pretty consistant..

I'm not concerned about the ash color, how it burns and the amount of ash is what matters. I was just surprised to see it.
