I've run quite a bit of DiRenzo rice through the EFM, very satisfied with their product.

Everyone I have spoken to speaks very highly of their coal. Larry @ Chubby speaks very highly of it as well. So much in fact he has included a link to their website on the Chubby site. It is just frustrating that it is literally not available for sale up this way without having it hauled in via a direct order.

There are more coal burners "hiding" here in Taxachusetts than people realize. Just ask Tractor Supply if you don't believe me.

Been a while since I've posted, but I would be a customer. Oil still down (relatively speaking, under $60.00/barrel) and coal suppliers by me are still going up. Anywhere from $309/ton for Reading. $400/ton Kimmel and $329/ton for Blaschak. Prices are for bagged coal. No bulk supplier near by. Heating oil 2.40/gal. These are advertised as summer prices.

I plugged 309 for coal and 2.40 for oil into the calculator and I come up with a gap of $8.00 per million BTU's difference.

Coal is still ahead even at those prices if I used the fuel calculation correctly.

Calculations have a possible error rate of plus or minus 100% :D

I went to DiRenzo yesterday for about 2 1/2 tons of stove. 1st time for buying coal like this and I explained I'm a rookie. They were very nice and helpful and walked me through the process. It's 48 miles one way for me to get there. I built a plywood box on my trailer 6.5' x 8' x 4' and we put too much in. Two guys shoveled the extra off and got the weight down. Next time we'll know how much to put in. Dennis

My father and I have been buying from Direnzo's for years... Great coal, easy to deal with... Nice to see the price on SOMETHING in my life coming down, LOL.
