I am posting from Montana. I recently purchased a used Flame King coal stoker, that I plan on heating a work shop. This is a coal slide type of stoker. The company has long been out of business. The burn plate or combustion plate needs to be replaced. I would like to find someone with a schematic of this stove or maybe a source to purchase this burn plate. I have found one on ebay, but I am reluctant to take this one apart until I am sure I have a replacement.

I saw this old thread from these forums from '07-'12 about the Flame King lignite/ subbit boilers.

Flame King Boilers and Furnaces

The thread mentions a place in Fairbanks AK, that was making these stoves now and then. That link to Coal and Heat, Fairbanks is dead. Someone provided another link to a place in WY., Pease Feed and Coal. They sell a number of similar stoves and have a parts section under the Stokermatic section. Might be worth contacting them?

There were a couple of guys in Alaska that used to post on here that ran sub bit boilers, but they haven't been seen in a good while. Hope someone can help you out.

Thank you for the information. I will check out these two possibilities. When this company went out of business I believe there was someone in Alaska that took it over.
Thanks again.
