I have limped along with a badly worn coal screw long enough and coughed up the money for a new coal screw for my 77B. Purchased from http://www.jonmargear.com/ Larry was very helpful an had one made for me. I sort of wish I had bought it a couple years back from willburt +- $70 less and I wouldn't have had to clean the fines out every couple weeks or listen to popping and grinding but, that is the way it is. Anyway if your stoker pops and grinds a lot then look at the screw.
