I would love it to be new but it would need to be in good enough condition to satisfy a bank. Home built will not due.
I'm building a large greenhouse. It will require a heat output of around 500K an hour. Mostly it will run around 250 tho. The cost structure is different enough between bit and anthracite at this level of firing that even if the boiler expensive it could still work out.
Is There a Modern Automatic Stoker Available for Bit?

Firetenter, Stokermatic, and Combustioneer. I have a combustioneer 77 and its great it hooks up to a thermostat and takes pea stoker coal.
I bought mine off craigslist for $400.
Also if you have deep pockets you can buy a brand new will burt stoker mechanism from will burt in Orrville Ohio. Then put in under your choice of solid fuel boiler of air furnace.
