Your profile has an interesting name for the coal size you burn, could you post a picture of some of the coal?

they call it A-class anthracite, the size is 20/30 and this is indicated in pieces of 20 and 30 mm, what is that in inches? it comes from germany (ibbenbuhren) we know this mine is now unfortunately closed.
a few more pictures of my coals and the stove in de morning it glows nicely but without the blue flames.

Yes, that is only the first few hours after filling then they disappear unfortunately but a joy to watch, it also depends on which large coals i take with this stove, with smaller coals i have more and longer blue flames, that is my experience.

it took me years to understand this stove, thanks to this forum and Freetown Fred but also others who helped me a lot, I now understand it well,,, very grateful, I've had it for at least 10 years now I'm only coal later started firing, at the beginning wood because I was too scared… and no experience
