True Artie, know it’s a wood burner , but with a grate installed it burns smokeless coal just fine , and it’s in such good condition I just can’t bear to sell it !! ( Fi loves it too big bonus ) so just have the adapter to fabricate when I get the time . Love antique stoves , ornate , beautiful to look at , but a functional item , nothing made today looks as good or has stood the test of time , made in a time when quality, meant quality !

Hi , Was going to replace my Parlor stove for this stove , unfortunately the flue outlet is higher than my cast iron fireplace opening and building regs say you can’t run a pipe downwards from the stove , and as much as I love it there is no where in the house to fit it as I have a Parlor stove , french stove in the rear bedroom, and a Red Cross baseburner in the orangery ! Looks like I am going to have to sell it , someone is going to get a beautiful stove that will grace any home .

Sorry Franco , But as you can see my present set up in the lounge wouldn’t be able to do as you said without major disruption. ( Don’t think Fi would be too happy ) .
