I understand that the older Godin stoves like the 3720 are multi fuel capable. Are there any good for burning bituminous coal?

They work pretty well with wood, so my guess is they would be no worse than other stoves burning bit. They have no secondary air but primary air is directed to the top of the stove as well as to the side.
