Based on what I described, is a 10kw too big or will it work?

Too big you’re crazy!

So I’m considering buying a restored Godin 3721. It is rated at 10kw.
I am planning on using this on vintage bus that’s being converted to an RV.
The dimensions are 35’x8’x8.25’
Insulated with r6.4 on the two long sides between windows, r6.4 on floor, r3.2 on ceilings.
The kicker here is that there is about 85-100 sqft of glass. Including one window that is 7’x7’.
The placement of the heater will not be centered it will be in the forward 1/3 of the room.
I really like the styling of this stove but will I cook my wife and I by using a 10kw heater?
Is it possible to compensate for the large size by under firing or restricting airflow and opening the flue all the way?

I'm curious as to what the chimney draft does while going down the freeway lol.

Should work OK as you can throttle it down quite a bit if need be. Remember to provide make up air to stove. A window must be partially opened and left open with the stove in use. Code for that type of use calls for a dedicated fresh air supply to the stove. Could be important for insurance coverage.

No thermostat so if traveling increases draft you might have to install a barometric damper.

Stove must be firmly installed, braced and fastened. Otherwise could be exciting going around a corner. Maybe remove the legs and bolt it down, with a strap brace up top.

Poor grate shaking system and small ash pan.
