My Wife and I went to look at a camp today. Who knows if things will work out. If things do work out I will need a small stove. It's about 700sqft, would a small Petit Godin work? I don't mind burning wood in the shoulder seasons I was thinking if I went up for weekend ice fishing I'd want the stove to burn anthracite so it would burn through the night.

That should work fine, but will take a long time to heat a structure that has been soaked with cold.

I like the option of burning wood and coal. Also the longer burn times and higher BTUs of coal on those long cold new england nights. I hate to wake up to a cold cabin or have to get up to reload a woodstove.
